Learning analytics na educação do seculo XXI: uma revisao

Resumo


Learning Analytics e um tema de crescente interesse entre a comunidade de pesquisa educacional. Como resultado de uma revisao sistematica da literatura, este artigo descreve a utilidade do Learning Analytics como um elemento-chave para apoiar uma educação apropriada do seculo XXI e para intervir na sua crise atual, na perspectiva de diferentes atores educacionais, tais como professores, alunos, diretores e familias. A partir de um corpus de 1384 documentos, 100 deles foram eleitos e processados por meio de analise, leitura em profundidade e uma posterior fase de categorização. Os resultados mostraram que Learning Analytics fornece insumos importantes para uma tomada de decisao bem-informada de partes educacionais interessadas. Alem disso, apesar de sua importância e do seu potencial educacional, a implementação atual do Learning Analytics nao deve mais ser restrita a perfis altamente tecnicos, mas aberta à comunidade academica e à população em geral. Nesse sentido, propoe-se que as habilidades e os conhecimentos relacionados ao Learning Analytics sejam incluidos em uma versao atualizada da “alfabetização informaciónal do seculo XXI”.
